Cobble connects to your QuickBooks Online company so your Steingard bookkeeper can review, correct and close your books. When a question comes up, you answer it on a simple page instead of digging through email.
Your data stays in your own QuickBooks company. You can disconnect any time. Privacy Policy
Accounts, vendors, customers and transactions come in from QuickBooks Online automatically. Nothing to export.
Cobble suggests how each transaction should be coded. A bookkeeper confirms every one before it counts.
When something's unclear, you get one short page of questions with tap-to-answer choices.
Each client's books sit in their own separate database. Connection keys are encrypted and never leave the server.
What was this purchase for?
Your bookkeeper sends a short list of questions about the transactions only you can explain. You open the link, tap an answer, and you're done.
Example write log
QuickBooks stays your book of record. Cobble reads what's there, helps your team find what's wrong, and writes back only the fixes a person approves.
Your Steingard bookkeeper does the setup. Your part takes about a minute.
Your bookkeeper creates your private Cobble workspace and starts the QuickBooks connection.
You or your bookkeeper sign in to Intuit and approve access to your company. Cobble never sees your Intuit password.
Your books sync, your bookkeeper reviews them, and you only hear from us when there's a question.
We designed Cobble on the assumption that books are sensitive and mistakes are expensive.
Every client's books live in their own separate database. Your data is never mixed with another company's.
Your QuickBooks connection keys are encrypted at rest. They are never shown in a browser, written to a log or shared with an AI model.
Cobble asks only for access to your accounting data. Disconnecting revokes that access with Intuit immediately.
No. QuickBooks Online stays your official books. Cobble connects to it and helps your bookkeeper review and correct what's there.
Your accounting data: the chart of accounts, vendors, customers and transactions. It doesn't ask for access to payroll or payments. See our Privacy Policy for details.
No. Changes are written back only after a bookkeeper approves them, and every change is logged. If the transaction was edited in QuickBooks in the meantime, Cobble stops instead of overwriting it.
Cobble can suggest how to categorize a transaction, using rules your bookkeeper sets and, where enabled, an AI model that sees only the transaction details it needs. A person reviews and confirms every suggestion. AI suggestions are never applied automatically.
Disconnect Cobble from the Apps section in QuickBooks Online, or ask your bookkeeper to disconnect it for you. Either way, access is revoked with Intuit right away.
